However, the more time she spends with Jake and his kids, the more she understands what her grandmother was thinking. Josie’s first impression of Jake isn’t great, but she decides to stop and take another look and maybe even get to know him. So she has a plan: Take care of her grandmother’s estate, avoid Jake and his family and then get the hell out of Magdalene.īut Jake has another plan, it’s one that includes Josie…after all it’s what Lydie wanted. Josie has given up on men, and the last thing she wants or needs is to “left” to one. Her grandmother left her to Jake, a man she has never met before. When her grandmother’s will is read, the last thing anyone would have expected happened. When Josie’s grandmother Lydie dies, Josie comes back to Magdalene for her funeral and to take care of her estate. For years, Faye has had a crush on Chace Keaton, but the gorgeous cop has always been unattainable. She may also be Carnals last remaining virgin. In Carnal, Colorado, Faye Goodknight is the towns quiet, shy librarian. The Will is about Josie and Jake, who are both in their 40’s and have been unlucky in relationships. by Kristen Ashley (Author) (3,673) Theres nothing like the first time. I LOVED it and I can’t wait to read more of the Magdalene series. Kristen Ashley blew me away with The Will.
